Welcome to the digital portfolio of Max Reineke!
Thanks for stopping by! I’m Max, a 2022 graduate from the University of Minnesota Duluth. I received degrees in both Graphic Design Marketing and Graphic Design Studio, with minors in Art History and Art. Currently, I am working with Luson Media, of Gradient Positioning Systems, LLC, to generate creative solutions for a diverse group of companies. My work involves primarily Web Design, but also includes a wide range of Graphic Design projects and general technical problem solving.
For the last 8 years I’ve been learning the skills behind, and become proficient with, the Adobe Suite and other design programs. I have taken particular interest in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign among others in the suite. My work shows the passion I have in learning the history of design through a hands-on approach. At Portkey SEO Solutions, I was the Digital Marketing Manager. I oversaw creative projects (web design, branding design, etc.), digital marketing strategies (Search Engine Optimization, Google Ad Management, etc.), or a mix (social media management, email campaigns, etc.) for a wide range of clients across industries.
During my time at UMD, I was Captain for two student organizations while also studying as a full-time student. My work shows my strong written and oral communication skills. My skills in writing, and my time as a Captain form UMD’s Climbing Team and North Shore Climbers Club, helped me to become a better and more passionate public speaker.
In a rapidly changing world, I hope I can continue to hone my design skills even more. I hope I can provide a unique outlook to design projects, and bring insight to team and collaborative projects. I am always open to a challenge, and even more to feedback. My open mind helps me learn things quickly, and I hope to never stop learning all that the design world has to offer.
